USSD Browsing
Unstructured Supplementary Service Data (USSD) is a session-oriented data bearer defined
in the GSM standard.
USSD is a fast and low-cost bearer for data exchange between a mobile and an application over a GSM network. The combination of USSD requests from the mobile and answers from the
application creates an excellent bearer for the introduction of innovative, attractive, interactive mobile value-added services.
However, USSD is only a bearer. It does not provide the necessary features to offer browsing services and applications. Cellicium's USSD Browsing solution bridges this gap.
